Apple Online Store Down Ahead of iPhone XS Pre-Order Kickoff

The wait is finally over, and Apple is now getting ready to begin the iPhone XS and the Apple Watch Series 4 pre-order program.

The Apple Online Store has been taken offline in anticipation of the pre-order kickoff, and it’ll be back online at 12:00 AM PT when the first customers will be allowed to reserve their devices.

Only iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and Apple Watch Series 4 will be available today, as the iPhone XR will be released in October. Shipments of the new XS and Watch will begin a week later on September 21.

New iPhones don’t come cheap

While this isn’t such a big surprise given that it’s Apple we’re talking about here, the new-generation iPhone doesn’t come cheap.

iPhone XS starts at $999, just like its predecessor, despite rumors predicting a small price cut. Earlier this year, it was speculated that the iPhone X successor could be some $100 cheaper than the original version.
