Apple Pay Now Supports More Banks in the US, Russia, China, Ireland, and Italy

Apple today updated the Apple Pay support page to inform its customers that more banks across the United States, Russia, China, Ireland, and Italy are compatible with its mobile payment and digital wallet service.

Apple Pay launched two and a half years ago, on October 20, 2014, and, since then, Apple tried to add support for as many banks and credit unions as possible, yet it’s still not available everywhere in the world.

In fact, Apple Pay is currently supported in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, China, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Russia, New Zealand, Switzerland, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey, San Marino, and Vatican City.

And it looks like Apple plans to bring Apple Pay to India, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Cyprus, and Brazil in the coming months, but, until then, Apple today added Apple Pay support to 27 more banks across the U.S., as well as to s… (read more)
