Apple Says iPhone X and 13-inch MacBook Pro Have Issues, Starts Repair Programs

Apple started two new repair programs on November 9, 2018, addressing hardware issues in both the iPhone X and the 13-inch MacBook Pros with no Touch Bar, as discovered by Bloomberg even though there was no public announcement issued by Cupertino.

According to “iPhone X Display Module Replacement Program for Touch Issues” page, “Apple has determined that some iPhone X displays may experience touch issues due to a component that might fail on the display module.”

iPhone X devices affected by this issues feature displays which will not respond or irregularly respond to touches, with the additional note that some of these defective displays will only have limited non-responsive areas.
