Apple Says It Will Repair Keyboard Issues on Some MacBooks for Free

Apple published on Friday a new support article where it announced the availability of a worldwide keyboard service program for select MacBook and MacBook Pro models.

The Cupertino, California-based company has finally acknowledged that some of its MacBook and MacBook Pro models do have a problem with their keyboard where letters or characters may repeat unexpectedly or do not appear at all.

Also, Apple has determined that a small number of keyboards may have “sticky” keys feel or simply fail to respond. As such, Apple decided to repair these faulty keyboards in eligible MacBook and MacBook Pro models free of charge.

“The type of service will be determined after the keyboard is examined and may involve the replacement of one or more keys or the whole keyboard,” said Apple in the support document.
