Apple to Devs: Build Your Apps with iOS 11 SDK and iPhone X Super Retina Support

Apple informed application developers on Monday that starting July 2018 all iOS app updated must be built with the latest iOS 11 SDK and support the Super Retina display of the iPhone X.

The Cupertino, California based company says in a blog announcement on its developer website that the latest iOS 11 mobile operating system delivers innovative features to make iOS apps more intelligent and unified, as well as to offer users more immersive experiences.

For that, applications developers must take advantage of the latest new features and enhancements Apple implemented in the Core ML and ARKit frameworks, the new camera APIs and SiriKit domains, as well as the Apple Music integration and drag and drop support for iPad, among many others.
