Apple's iOS 12 Already Runs on 78% of Devices Introduced in the Last Four Years
On the first day of the new year, Apple updated its App Store statistics page for application developers to inform them about the current adoption of the company’s latest iOS mobile operating system.
The updated App Store statistics page regarding the latest iOS 12 mobile operating system for supported iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices shows us that as of January 1, 2019, 78 percent of all devices introduced in the last four years are using iOS 12 and 75 percent of all devices are using iOS 12.
The last update was on October 29, 2018, and it showed that iOS 12 was used on 63 percent of all devices introduced in the last four years and 60 percent of all devices. So, we’re looking at a whopping 15 percent increase in only two months, which means that more iPhone and iPad users installed iOS 12 on their devices.
