Beat This, Samsung: All Next-Generation iPhones to Feature 5G Support

The 2020 iPhone generation will officially introduce 5G support, but while the company was originally believed to be planning just one model with such capabilities, it looks like we’re in for a big surprise.

Reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple will bring 5G not just to one iPhone, but to the entire 2020 lineup, which will include three different models.

According to earlier reports, Apple’s 2020 iPhone family will include 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.7-inch screen sizes, with people familiar with the matter revealing the 5G connectivity would be powered by a Qualcomm chip.

Apple and Qualcomm settled their legal dispute a couple of months ago, entering an agreement that would have the San Diego-based firm supply chips for future-generations iPhones.
