Bitwarden Becomes the First Password Manager Integrated Into DuckDuckGo

Bitwarden becomes the first password manager integrated into duckduckgoDuckDuckGo, the browser that is heavily focused on user privacy, is getting its very first password manager as part of a partnership with Bitwarden.

The open-source password manager, whose main focus is also the security offered to users, is therefore bringing popular features, including password autofill and username generator, right into DuckDuckGo for Mac (still in beta today).

Bitwarden is already available as a stand-alone password manager, and one of its main features is the open-source license.

In other words, as compared to competing products, such as Enpass, Bitwarden can be used by home users at absolutely no charge, while a Bitwarden Premium account is available for just $10 per year.

Needless to say, the integration in DuckDuckGo fits the browse’s approach like a glove, especially as the two apps share a common goal of protecting users’ privacy while online.
