iPhone 11 Will Feature Reverse Wireless Charging A La Samsung Galaxy S10
The next-generation iPhone, often referred to as iPhone 11, will come with significant improvements in terms of wireless charging, according to a report from Japanese blog Macotakara.
In addition to the existing wireless charging input that the latest-generation iPhones already support, Apple’s smartphone will also launch with reverse wireless charging.
This is a feature that already exists on several high-end Android models, including on the recently-released Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup.
With such an addition, the iPhone 11 would technically be able to wirelessly charge other Apple devices, like the Apple Watch and the new-generation AirPods.
The good news is that if this feature is indeed being developed, the battery capacity of the iPhone could be improved as well, which means that the next-generation model could benefit from substantially improved autonomy per charge.
