iPhone Users Migrating to iOS 14 En Masse

Apple launched iOS 14 with much fanfare in September this year for the iPhone 6s and newer, and since then, more and more users are installing this new release.

The company has finally published new information on the iOS 14 adoption rate, revealing that 81 percent of all devices introduced in the last four years have already updated.

On the other hand, 17 percent of them are still on iOS 13, while 2 percent of these devices are still on an earlier version of the operating system.

When it comes to the entire Apple smartphone base, 72 percent of them are currently running iOS 14, which shows just how efficient the Cupertino-based tech giant is when it comes to keeping devices up-to-date.

18 percent of all devices are currently using iOS 13, while 10 percent of them are running an earlier release.

As far as the iPad is concerned, Apple says 61 percent of all tablets are already on iPadOS 14, with 21 percent of them still on the previous version.
