iPhone X Plus: Same Size as iPhone 8 Plus, 6.5-inch OLED Display
Apple is expected to introduce a new 6.5-inch OLED iPhone this year that could be marketed as a Plus-sized version of the iPhone X, and a new report today provides us with an early look into how the device could look like.
Japanese site Macotakara says the iPhone X Plus could have nearly the same size as the iPhone 8 Plus despite the substantially bigger screen, and it’s all thanks to the smaller bezels. These allow Apple to reduce the overall dimensions of the device, increase the screen estate, and at the same time, go for the modern design that it patented with the debut of the iPhone X.
The same source says the larger iPhone X will be 0.2mm thicker than the iPhone 8 Plus, so it’s expected to measure 7.7mm in thickness, all because of the rear camera.
