macOS 11 Concept Redesigns Apple’s Desktop Operating System from the Ground Up

While Apple has pledged to spend more time optimizing and refining the performance of its operating systems, it’s no secret that customers are always expecting for more, and new features mixed with a fresh design are always on the wish list of most users.

A macOS 11 concept published on Behance by designer Alvaro Pabesio envisions a complete makeover of Apple’s desktop operating system, most likely at a level that the Cupertino-based firm would never commit to as part of a typical version update.

In addition to the redesigned menu and status bars, the concept imagines a Control Center makeover with quick toggles and dynamic settings, with the latter showing up only when certain features are needed. For instance, when listening to music, the Control Center could display playback controls, along with a volume slider.
