Future iPhone Could Use Apple In-House 5G Modem
Apple is believed to be exploring another project that could help the company step away from wireless chips manufacturers, as it’s seeking engineers for what could be its very own 5G modem designing group.

And a job posting on Apple’s own website indicates that Cupertino has bigger plans in this regard, as it’s seeking an engineer to “be at the center of a silicon design group.”
