iOS Sees Notable Increase in the US, While Android Grows in Europe

The latest Kantar World Panel report reveals market trends in the past period, providing an insight into smartphone OS sales. The study shows that iOS continued to grow in most regions, except for Japan, Spain and Urban China.

On the other hand, Android grew in the US, and accounted for 74.3% of smartphone sales, an increase from 72.9% in the three months ending January 2016. iOS recorded a share of 22.7%, while iPhone 7 remained the top-selling smartphone in major European countries.
