Apple launches new repair program for the apple watch seriesApple has announced a new Apple Watch repair program, this time aimed specifically at the 40mm version of the Apple Watch Series 6.

The company explained in an announcement recently that it discovered a blank screen problem on some units, but it specifically emphasized that only a very small number of devices is actually impacted by the whole thing.

However, because this could be a serious issue, the company is performing free-of-charge repairs, with Apple launching a dedicated page where customers can provide their serial number and figure out if their smartwatches are part of the program or not.

“Apple has determined that the screen on a very small percentage of 40mm Apple Watch Series 6 devices may go blank permanently. Affected devices were manufactured between April 2021 to September 2021.
