Apple Rolls Out AirPods Firmware 3.5.1 to Synchronized iPhones

In a quiet move, Apple has started to push out a firmware update for AirPods, which brings some undisclosed bug fixes, according to Apple Insider.

Apple AirPods firmware 3.5.1 is available for users and the update installs automatically to AirPods when they are in their charging case, which is plugged into a charger and linked to the iPhone. In order for the update to downloaded, users must make sure they have their iPhones connected to a WiFi network.

There’s also an option for checking the installed firmware revision in the General settings section and selecting the About category, then AirPods. It seems that the update comes with miscellaneous minor bug fixes, but more details weren’t provided.
