Flickr has just received a new update on iOS devices, and this time the highlight is the addition of widget support for iPhones running the latest version of the operating system.
As you probably know already, iOS 14 and later comes with widget support, as long as apps come with such capabilities.
And Flickr is now trying to take advantage of this feature with its very own widget, allowing users to add it to the home screen with just a few taps. In Flickr, the widget shows photos from Flickr Explore, so theoretically, it adds a dynamic touch to the home screen because everybody loves this anyway.
Widgets on iPhone
A dynamic widget is something that iPhone users can only dream about right now, as this feature comes with a lot of limitations on iOS 14.
While you’d normally expect a widget to come with all kinds of functionality, it doesn’t on iOS 14, as it lacks any kind of interaction support.
