Leaked iPhone 8 Video Reveals the Bezel-Less Front Design
A new video that got leaked today allegedly shows the front panel of the upcoming iPhone 8, expected to be released by Apple in September ahead of the start of sales in October.
The front panel confirms what we’ve already heard about the device, pointing out that Apple is indeed working on a bezel-less display with a top sensor bar that would be the home of the front cameras.
And we’re using the plural because the chances are there’ll be more than just a camera, as Apple is reportedly planning to launch the iPhone 8 with iris and facial recognition as well.
Fingerprint sensor embedded into the screen?
If legitimate, this front panel also confirms that the home button will be gone on Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8, so there are now fewer options for the location fingerprint sensor: Cupertino will install it either under the screen for easy unlocking with a tap on the screen or on the back of the phone in typical Android fashion.
